Covid-19 & HIV

Please be assured that Luton Sexual Health are continuing to provide quality care for your ongoing condition, but we will be making some changes to our usual routines. We will make sure we keep you fully informed by text message and website updates.

We are following advice from both the Government and the Luton & Dunstable Hospital Trust about when face to face appointments should be converted to telephone appointments.

At present we will be advising all our clients by text message whether or not they need to keep their booked appointment here in clinic, or whether they should make sure they are free to receive a phone call instead.

Those people who are advised that they will be having a telephone appointment will be contacted on the same day and within 1 hour of their booked clinic appointment time.

Anyone whose appointment is converted to a telephone call will still get their medication in the usual way.

HIV & Covid vaccination

All people living with HIV are advised to have vaccinations against COVID-19. If you are unsure when your next vaccine is due, please discuss with your GP, or speak to your HIV consultant at the time of your next review.
