LGBT+ History Month 2021

February marks LGBT History Month. This is an annual celebration that provides education and insight into the issues that the LGBT+ community face. The primary aim is to teach people about the history of the gay rights movement and to promote an inclusive society.

LSH Support for LGBT+ Clients (During COVID Restrictions)

  • 121 support for anyone who may be experiencing negative feelings around their sexuality or/and gender identity  – Call Andrew on 07976406912 or email Andrew.trowbridge@ldh.nhs.uk  (video call/telephone consultation)
  • Full online STI MSM testing kits (MSM – Men who have Sex with Men) available for Luton residents who are aged over 18. If you have a young person Under 18 who requires blood testing, please call Andrew on 07976406912
  • Any who would like to register for a condom card and condoms (OVER 18) can text 07976406911 along with their name, address, gender, age and ethnicity. If you have anyone UNDER 18 who requires a condom card and condoms, please get them to call 07976406909 0R 07976406912
  • Anyone requesting PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) or PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis – up to 72 hours after sex) can call 01582 497070 and request a telephone consultation with a consultant
