Dear Clients, due to the Covid -19 pandemic we have had to make some changes to our service in order to keep both you and our workforce safe.
We will keep these pages updated with any relevant information related to Covid-19 and our service, so please check regularly.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you, or a member of your household or support bubble have any of the below symptoms, please do not come to your clinic appointment. You should self-isolate at home in accordance with the Government Guidelines
- New continuous cough
- High temperature
- Loss of, or change in your normal sense of taste or smell

Safety measures In Clinic
Please only attend clinic if you have been asked to come for a face to face appointment. If you do need to attend in person, please be assured that we have taken precautions to protect both yourselves and our members of staff.
While restrictions are in place, LSH staff will control access using an entry phone. You will need to press the intercom button located by our main doors. A member of the reception team will then check you have an appointment before letting you in. You will also be asked about Covid-19 symptoms.
In order to support social distancing, booked Face to Face clients will only be admitted to clinic at their actual appointment time. Anyone who arrives late for their appointment will be asked to leave and re-schedule.
Protective screens have been put in place at Reception and hand sanitiser distributors are placed throughout the clinic.
Please attend your appointment alone wherever possible.
In line with Government guidelines for NHS settings, all members of staff and the public will be required to wear face coverings in the clinic. Please bring a face covering with you when you come for your appointment and put it on before entering. LSH will provide you with a mask if needed.
Please see this short video from the WHO on how to use a face covering correctly. If it is not possible to wash your hands, hand sanitiser should be used.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Our clinical staff will be wearing PPE when providing client care which prevents them maintaining social distancing (i.e. for physical examinations, blood tests and injections). This PPE will consist of face masks, gloves, aprons and goggles.
